Ooooo it's been a bit quiet on here.
Today's post is purely about what I have been up to recently. I have been so busy I haven't had much time to dedicate to this site as I would like, but I have been doing fun stuff which is always a bonus!
Work
August, September and October are always the busiest times of the year for me so for a couple of weeks it's been pulling a few late ones getting everything done.
CIM Course
I started my Certificate in Professional Marketing last month and it is going well so far. I have one evening a week in class and the rest of the time I have to read up. I have noticed that my brain isn't as sharp after a full day at work compared to my days as an undergrad and I have to constantly reread my notes and will lose some weekends to study, but it will all be worth it in the end.

National Track Cycling Championships
I went to the Track Champs in Manchester last Sunday which was great to watch. It is my second Track Champs I have watched and will be the last one before the Olympics. I saw Laura Trott and Katie Archibald amongst other big track cycling stars.
Cycling
I shouldn't come to a surprise to you if you are on this site often that I like cycling. Recently I am trying to get out to do some in the week and at least do twenty miles on the weekend which I am achieving.
Hen Party
I went to my friend, Lauren's hen do which consisted of a lovely meal at Solita and a night out in Manchester which was lovely.
My dressing table now desk, ironically

Channel 4
I went to a Talent Day at Channel 4 recently which was a lot of fun. I wrote a whole blog post explaining my day here.
Girls Can Code
I watched the BBC3 2 part series called Girls Can Code. I cannot actually code myself ( I know enough to fix little problems on this site) and have used the Code Academy app. Overall I thought it was a good programme and it is good to see positive female role models in the tech and computing industry.
Finally writing some stuff.
I have written some articles for The Metro recently and UK Blog Awards.
Finally, finally I forgot to add I have tickets to see Ellie Goulding next year!!!!
