As anyone who isn't living under a rock realised, the blogging world has grown enormously over the past ten years. There are many people now making good money either from their blog or working for companies that help bloggers either promote themselves or products. Blogs have moved from a limited number of free custom made backgrounds to bespoke templates and photography that can rival high-end magazine spreads. Today I take a look at the few bloggers I feel have become the game changers.
I appreciate she is now mainly a vlogger. But Zoe is one of the early pioneers I felt made blogging and vlogging a serious business. She was making her videos and images look professional long before everyone else, she knows what her audience likes and takes every opportunity she can.
Hannah Gale
Hannah Gale
Although relatively new to the blogger scene compared to someone like Zoella. Hannah definitely has brought something different to blogging. She is a qualified journalist that used to work at Metro, Instyle, LOOK and Marie Claire. Hannah writes the best blogging lists I have read, so good that they have gone viral more than once (and they are hard to write, I have tried myself).
The best posts I have read from her have included why you wouldn't want to work in the magazine industry (my fiance an ex- journalist agrees with everything written in that article) and the posts where she talks about blogging candidly.

The Wonderforest
I have mentioned Dana so many times that it is getting slightly scary. Dana is another true pioneer in design from the days of MySpace to Blogger/ Wordpress designs to apps and more. Dana was the first person I came across who designs and creates apps for a living which is not as common for someone who also blogs about beauty and fashion. Dana really is someone who has so many projects on the go but can make them all work.
The Blonde Salad
Italian Chiara Ferragni started her fashion blog in 2009 and is now living the fashion bloggers dream collaborating with big designers, appearing in Vogue and other high-end magazines, launching her own fashion collection and travelling across the world. With 12 million page views (told to Into the Gloss in a 2013 interview, so one can only imagine what the page views are now!) to me along with Zoella The Blonde Salad is one of the few blogs where Chiara has had real success and is living the dream.
Now over to you! Do you agree with what I think or do you think there are other bloggers that deserve to be on the list also?
